Large Format Printing

Large Format Printing

Accura Imaging specialises in large format digital printing and has been involved in this field since the mid 1990s. We use a variety of technologies including aqueous inkjets, latex, solvent, eco-solvent and dye-sublimation to produce graphic displays for indoor and outdoor use.

Combined with the display equipment described in the products section of this website it allows us to supply complete portable display solutions for use at exhibitions and other events.

With a wealth of experience, we can advise on the best combination of hardware and graphics to meet your requirements, whether you need a short-term solution for a one-off event or a more durable system that can be used over and over again.

To achieve the highest quality results our clients have become accustomed to, care is taken at every stage of the large-format workflow. This starts with accurately created artwork to the correct specifications. Where possible we make sure images and logos are of sufficient resolution and supplied in the correct format. High quality postscript RIPs then control the printing to equally high-spec digital printers. Lamination, where necessary, adds the finishing touch.

Print Finishing

Several options are available to provide long-term protection for digitally printed output. Our highest quality photograde banners are usually finished with a scratch-resistant front laminate. Pop-up display panels have a similar laminate on the front as well as a semi-rigid opaque backing film for durability. Posters can be encapsulated with gloss or matt films or prints can be laminated and mounted onto various substrates such as foamex (rigid pvc) or foamboard (foam-centred board).
